Second Applied Microeconomics Workshop

The second workshop in applied microeconomics aims at bringing together top scholars from the broad ‘Alpine’ region who are doing work in any area of empirical microeconomics. This year there will be a number of presentations on immigration, political economy, historical institutions, health, cultural norms and public economics. The workshop feature longer presentations and provide an opportunity for researchers in related areas to share and receive feedback on their work, particularly new or preliminary papers.
An invited talk will be given by Giovanni Facchini (University of Nottingham) on “Race, Representation and Local Governments in the US South: the Effect of the Voting Rights Act”.
